For their latest EP, Black Music, the band hooked up with producer Mark Needham (The Killers, Neon Trees) through their marketing manager. Coy commented the initial plan "was just to do one song but we were really happy with the way it turned out so we decided to do a few more. Some of it we originally had recorded into laptops in my friend's garage studio so some of the tracks we brought to Mark. Afterwards, we re-recorded all the vocals and some of the drums and guitars in Mark's studio and then he mixed the whole thing."
